Bach’s famous Christmas Oratorio was intended for performance in church during the Christmas season, and what better venue to hear this masterpiece than the magnificent setting of Lichfield Cathedral.
We will be performing sections 1, 2, 3 & 6 with the fabulous baroque style orchestra who last performed with us for our gala concert November 2019 and a superb line up of soloists.

Our traditional service of Nine lessons & Carols will be held again in the atmospheric Grade II listed church of St Alban the Martyr just outside the city centre.
We welcome all to this service of readings, congregational carols, and a selection of beautiful Christmas music performed by the choir.
There is no charge.

Concessions are available for some concerts and apply to senior citizens, the registered unemployed, full-time students and children under 16.
Children under 16: special rate of £6 per ticket.
Tickets for carers accompanying a disabled person are available at a special price for the two tickets together
A group discount of 10% is available when purchasing 10 or more tickets.
Please note that seating is unreserved unless otherwise stated.
