Michael Palmer

Michael Palmer joined the Birmingham Bach Society Choir in September 1966 and became Honorary Secretary in 1968. He worked very closely with the Conductor Richard Butt in widening and redefining the work of the Society, and in restructuring the administration and fundraising.

He later became Chairman and combined the post with that of Concert Secretary until he retired as Chairman in 1991.

Later he became Vice President and now combines this work with that of the Choir's Archivist.
